The Process:
The program I used was Adobe Photoshop 2015 version. This was the only program I used for this project because I want to become an expert in its use. Over 3 days I dedicated 8 hours in viewing tutorials and using the program. Trial and error has been the best way to learn lasso tools, cropping with edges, inverting images, using the layers feature and filling in parts of an image. The tutorials I used ranged from Adobe Photoshop, YouTube videos, and a video tutorial with my teammate Damon.
Thoughts:
What struck me the most of the instruction I received with Photoshop, was the scope of tools used by the instructors. They completed the same final product but with different tools in Photoshop. This program is robust with varying learning curves depending on the photo project. For a beginner like myself, in 8 hours you can gain the basics and learn how to use layers to manipulate photos. I'm looking forward to the next assignment to continue using Photoshop and learn something new!
